BioSleep is a natural sedative and has a calming effect on fish. This prevents stress during handling and topical treatment of fish. It has been specifically formulated using high purity extracts of pure clove bud (the fraction that has the highest eugenol content).
The formulation has been optimised to enhance diffusion in water and does not contain any carrier oils, thus significantly reducing the tendency for the oil to coat the gills of fish. The product is stable and consistent, ensuring that the user can accurately gauge dosage requirements. Beware of over-the-counter pharmacy applications that have not been specifically formulated for Koi.
Dosage & Directions For Use
Never sedate more than one fish at a time and keep water well oxygenated with an air stone. Pour pond water into a bowl and add BioSleep – mix well before introducing the Koi. Ensure that water is well aerated. Response should be observable within 10 minutes depending on the size of the Koi. Additional oil can be added in dropwise increments if required.
Warning: Do not leave Koi unattended. Consult with a professional if not familiar with this process.
Dosage: 2 – 5 drops per litre.
Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place out of direct sunlight.
