Shusui Koi Variety
"THE DOITSU VERSION OF THE ASAGI"
The Shusui is recognised by the characteristic line of scales that run down the back of the Koi.
When the Shusui has scales on the flanks along the lateral lines they need to be neatly aligned. The red (Hi) markings of the Shusui should be confined to the chin, the cheeks, the abdomen and the base of the fins.
Where the Shusui has red (Hi) markings on the flanks, they should be perfectly parallel.
